Update: 1/1/2011
FINISHED MY 2011 NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION OF A SKETCH A DAY!!!
Thanks everyone for hanging out for the ride and enjoying the adventures of Cally and her companions.
I'll be putting together all the skecthes into a book to be printed and available.
See poll: [link]
If anyone knows a good/inexpensive online printer (under $20 to print each book), let me know! I'm looking to do just around 370 pages, full color, approx. 5x7 (manga size). I found one that'll do it for $20 each, but their correspondance isn't very reassuring.

I've seen many do the drawing a day thing and always thought that'd be great way to keep loose and improve with practice and all that...you know....etcetera etcetera...but ME?! Sure, I have all these ideas, ambitions, drive and such...but not enough confidence in my skill to get over the first hurdle of many of those. But I have to start somewhere...
So then I stumbled across:
Started watching her a while ago, then she started daily drawings in December (and hopefully will keep 'em coming for the New Year). Humor, style, seriousness, blunt, smooth, clever...so many things all in one...all on their own. Just check 'em out...you might just relate to a few...
The point of this journal? To just say I'll be (trying) to upload a sketch a day for the whole year of 2011. Which if you didn't get it yet, *elKoi inspired me to bite the bullet and give it a go myself...in a similar method with comic panels and strips.
My art is like my writing...I need to paraphrase (simplify) more often...get to the point...besides that, my 'sketch stage' sucks.
I'll also start trying out the twitpic thing...which is connected through twitter.
So yeah...that's that...here's my first one to start the year off:
