Still love those wonderfully weighted lines -- esp. how their weight increases along the outstretched arm/hand, adding to the illusion of depth.

You've also captured the character's goofy-happy-go-lucky expression very well.

My only crit would be that he should have a slightly wider stance. Given his girth and his feet together as they are (and with the outstretched arm), I see a very slight imbalance to the pic, as if he might fall forward towards his left.

I so can defend on that! I totally have excuses...wait till you hear them....

First off...the arm wouldn't have an effect on balance unless he was leaning forward to the extend of being off balance. Second...the stance...true that someone of that weight wouldn't be able to comfortably (if at all) have their legs flush together like that but being this being more animated and less realistic, we can bend the rules and have a little artistic freedom! Also, notice delya's pic of him I have in my journal...I already have it pretty similar to hers and that's the only redeming quality I have for not accidenting just repeating her stance....which was sooo not intentional, I swear!


How's that for rationalizing!




But really, you made valid points and I thank for taking those things into consideration and mentioning them.

This was worth the wait fo' sho', the lines are so nice and clean and that perspective is a tough one to pull off- so good for you!
