This is superb! I just wish I could take a closer look at the incredible texturing. It blows my mind that you can achieve this with just an ink brush and tech pens. I imagine patience is key (of which I have none sufficient to do this.)

The composition is very nice with a perfect balance of lights and darks. The texturing, particularly on the frog, is brilliant. It is also nice to see a mixture of texture types. The mood exudes such a relaxed feeling that I wish I were that frog, which to me is the greatest achievement of this piece. The starry sky just adds to the mood, without being overdone. All the lines, the brances, stems, stars, also cleverly draw my eyes back to the contented frog. My only critique is that the texturing in the branches could have been heavier in places to give it more substance. You should offer this as a print!

I'm sorry, but the brush was used for the background fill...didn't want others to think I used a tech pen to manually fill in all that black!

Thanks for your points of interests. I agree with the texture...I went overboard and unfortunately I feel it starts to flatten out the piece...especially with the leaves. Luckily the frog still pops. ;)

Offer as a print? Ask and you shall recieve...(thanks for asking). I also made it more presentable. Before, I made a quick scan and cropped it all funny...:D
